2004-01-01 Sabadeco
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. For six months or so, we had the privilege of seeing this Frogfish (named "eduardina" by my nephew) nearly every dive. She is the most active Frogfish I've ever seen! Also lots of Boga action, including cleaning behaviour.
2004-07-15 Andrea II
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. For nearly a year, every time we dove north of Andrea II, we saw this school of Bogas. This time the Jacks and Barracuda were circling, looking for a meal.
2005-01-09 Yellow Submarine
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Right in the front of downtown Playa, this dive is always interesting. This time 2 beautiful Seahorses, a feeding Hawksbill Turtle and a band of maurading French Grunts intent on nipping at our hands!
2005-05-20 Town Pier
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. A very popular night dive, but I like it better during the day due to the friendly fish. We saw swarms of amiable Angelfish, a Chain Moray, a Sharptail Eel and a pair of lovely Juvenile Spotted Drumfish.
2005-12-28 Cai Channel
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Sometimes treacherous, this dive was as good as it gets. Famous for schooling Tarpon, we also say a Spotted Eagle Ray and two rare Nassau Grouper.

Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Sand Dollar house reef, aka Bari Reef. This dive we saw a Seahorse, a Grouper cleaned by Gobies, Pikeblen
2006-08-29 Invisibles
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Just south of the usual entry is an easy sandy beach to get in. The double reef here is a series of deep islands. One of our favorite dives; specatular scenery and usually lots of interesting things: This time a Barracuda with Sharksucker attached.
2006-09-05 Fish-Beryl
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Unnamed site between Fish Hut and Red Beryl. Easy entry. Soft coral jungle! Teeming with fish, just a spectacular site. Ran across a huge Hawksbill turtle encrusted with barnacles.
2006-09-12 Red Beryl
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Moderately easy entry at this beautiful south dive site. Be sure to explore the sand flats on the way out to the gorgeous reef. Loads of hard and soft coral, clouds of Chromis. We saw: Razorfish, Mojarra, Chub, Trunkfish, Grouper, etc...
2006-11-01 Something Special
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Easy entry just north of Yellow Submarine Shop. Saw a Midnight Parrot, Scrawled Filefish and a Hawksbill turtle.

2006-11-28 Sabadeco Pier
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Our home reef. We dive it a lot and still very much enjoy. Explored a bit deep and in the shallows found Tangs feasting on some dead comb jellies.
2006-12-05 Bari Reef
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Sand Dollar house reef. Tour led by the incomparable Bill & Prawphan. This is the E-ticket dive tour! Amazing collection of critters on this reef. Highlights were turtles, seahorse, and a frogfish.
2006-12-24 La Danias Leap To Karpata
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. One of Bonaires more spectacular shore dives. From the four foot jump in at La Danias, the deep vertical walls and the plunging reef dropoff, to the huge abundance of hard corals; a dive not to be missed.
2007-01-09 Hidden Beach
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Another dive from the spectacular southern end of Bonaire. A soft coral haven with loads of fish. Can be a rough entry unless the surf is down (rare). Do not miss this one on calm days!
2007-01-20 Something Special
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Got in a bit north of the usual and went up to the marina entrance. Like a lot of dives in this area, we saw a lot of interesting things. Best was a pink Longlure Frogfish sitting on a pink sponge.
2007-02-06 Hilma Hooker
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Bonaires most famous and accessible wreck dive. Usually pretty crowded, but not too many this time. Can count on Tarpon and schooling Jacks with a nice reef to decompress on on the way back to shore.
2007-02-08 Town Pier
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Back to the Town Pier again as it never disappoints! As Roseanne said, its like finding all your little friends in one place. Seeing a Hawksbill Turtle eating off the pilings was a first for us. Also, a large Cubera Snapper with a retinue of pilot-like fish.
2007-03-13 Windsock North
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Very nice little secluded beach on the far north end of Windsock. This is near the Plaza marina entrance, so watch out for boat traffic. Interesting terrain. Saw a Hawksbill Turtle intent on feeding.
2007-03-20 The Cliff
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. We entered on the north end of Hamlet, at the Yellow Submarine dive shop. Visability was awful, but we were treated to several cruising Tarpon and a number of very active cleaning stations. You can find one of Bonaires few underwater walls. Pretty dive.
2007-04-03 Taylor Maid
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Just north of BOPEC, where the road rejoins the shore. Entry easier than it looks. The best, most healthy coral I have seen around Bonaire! A Black Durgon mob over the reef. Very dramatic!
2007-04-10 Atlantis
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Be very cautious of the kiteboarders, who usually do not arrive before 10 am. Worth the extra care as this is one of Bonaires premiere dive sites. Beautiful coral, plentiful fish. This time we saw four turtles as well!
2007-08-10 Blennylips House Reef
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Back to our house reef. And we see why its one of our favorites. A Bar Jack desperate to be cleaned by a Juvenile Spanish Hogfish, the biggest Hawksbill Turtle we have ever seen. A crowd of Creole Wrasse stopping in for a cleaning and a shy Coral Banded Shrimp.
2007-09-06 1000 Steps
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Actually, only about 64 steps...Very nice hard coral here. A beautiful secluded beach and cove, well worth the effort.
2007-09-07 Town Pier
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Back for our first dive at this pier since hurricane Felix passed by. The bottom did take a beating and we saw fewer overall fish, but still lots of good fish and critter interactions!
2007-09-11 Atlantis
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. We get in early to avoid the kiteboarders. Despite the recent passing of hurricane Felix, the vizibility was excellent. A soft coral mecca! The amount of soft coral packed into every square meter is stunning. A do not miss Bonaire dive.
2007-09-12 Salt Pier
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Our first visit since hurricane Felix, and again, the visibility is great. Loads of fish action! Highlight was a Midnight Parrotfish triggering a feeding frenzy at a Sergeant Major nest.
2007-09-14 La Dania's Leap to Karpata
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. A bit more effort than the usual, but worth it. Stick to the reef drop-off for the best scenery and fish life...We saw seven turtles! Takes about 60 to 70 minutes without having to hurry.
2007-10-03 Playa Frans
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. A long drive to the end of the road on the leeward side to a small fishing village. Worth the drive as this is a hard coral heaven. Head south (left) as this is the prettiest direction.
2007-10-28 Sabadeco Pier
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. From three dives at the Sabadeco Pier on Oct 28th, 30th and Nov 16th. Saw many of what have become our friends: Octopus, Midnight, Rainbow and Blue super-male Parrotfish, and many others.
2007-10-29 Vista Blue
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. On a calm day, head down south to this soft coral garden. Nice sandy chute entry. Very pretty scenery and great snorkel spot.
2007-11-01 Bari Ball
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. More evidence of Bari Reef supremacy! Four human-critter interactions, I call the Bari Reef Ball Dances. The video is long, but I wanted to show how extensively one can interact with reef creatures when one is patient.
2007-11-02 Red Beryl
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Another dive on the wonderful southern reef. Watch out for the kiteboarders. Best here are the soft corals. Great place to see Turtles and Eagle Rays, both of which we did see.
2007-12-10 Angel City
Blennylips Bonaire dive log video. Our favorite on the double reef. Head south at the second reef. Almost always large schools loitering here. Great coral formations abound.
