The box labeled "Places in Chile we visited" in the left column, Click on one of these to zoom the map to that location and load the thumbnail for the video that shows this location (in the upper right).
To watch a video, click on the image in the box in the upper right hand corner. I'm having a bit of trouble here...We will attempt to open the video in a window that overlays the map, but if that fails, the video will open in a separate browser window.
I still have yet to add active links in the "Links for more info" box...
The google map works like all google maps: Zoom in or out and pan around, etc.
When the video starts, the google map will automatically zoom into the dive location, marking it with the dive flag. As each species is seen in the video, a hypertext link will appear in the Links box below the map. At any time you can click on one of these links. That will pause the video if it is playing and open up a new browser window to show you more information about that item.
If you have too slow of an internet connection, the video playback will be jerky. In this case, click on the video pause control and wait for the buffering progress bar across the bottom of the player to finish. Now you can playback normally.
An uncommon problem is for the playback to suddenly stop before the video is over. This is usually caused by a corrupt cache of the video in your browser. Try clearing your browser's cache and reloading the page.
