Explore our videos. See on a google map each dive location. Choose a species and see which of our videos feature that fish/critter/coral.
The box labeled "Dive Log Videos" in the left column, list the names of our videos. Click on a name to bring that video into the viewer.
Below that is a drop-down list that shows all of the fish/critters/coral featured in our Dive Log videos. Select one of the species and the names of the videos that feature it will be highlighted in the "Dive Log Video" box above.
The top of the right column is a normal google map of Bonaire that works like all google maps: Zoom in or out and pan around.
When the video starts, the google map will automatically zoom into the dive location, marking it with the dive flag. As each species is seen in the video, a hypertext link will appear in the Links box below the map. At any time you can click on one of these links. That will pause the video if it is playing and open up a new browser window to show you more information about that item.
If you have too slow of an internet connection, the video playback will be jerky. In this case, click on the video pause control and wait for the buffering progress bar across the bottom of the player to finish. Now you can playback normally.
An uncommon problem is for the playback to suddenly stop before the video is over. This is usually caused by a corrupt cache of the video in your browser. Try clearing your browser's cache and reloading the page.
