In December 1998, we visited the island of Palau, formerly part of Micronesia. We dove with Sam's Dive Tours, a stellar dive operation. The beauty of the Rock Islands, both above and below water was amazing.

Yap

In December 1998, we visited the island of Yap, part of Federated States of Micronesia. We stayed and dove with Manta Ray Bay Hotel, a real class operation. Yap above water is utterly charming with stunning corals below. The top attractions are the Manta cleaning station and the Yap Caverns to the south.

Downloading our videos

Your best viewing option is to download the video to your computer. You essentially have to do this to watch it anyway and by downloading it once, you can watch it many times without worrying about the jittery playback.

There are two ways to download. Right click on an image and choose to "Save link as" (in Firefox). You can also download via BitTorrent, the most efficient way to distribute large files over the internet.

To use BitTorrent, you need a client program to run on your computer. I highly recommend uTorrent.

Playing our videos

Once a video is downloaded and if you need a video player, try one of these (both recommended):
VLC media player (nearly all OS's),
or the
Media Player Classic (Windows only).

These videos are released under the Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 license.

Basically, you can do whatever noncommercial thing you like with the videos, but are required to give me attribution and to then share them in the same way I do.
