Blennylips Bonaire offers guided video dives to any Bonaire dive site. We can guide you to the Town, Salt, or Sabadeco Piers and Cai Channel and video your dives. We can also accompany and video you and your group on any of your regular shore or boat dives.
Plan to kayak/snorkel in the mangrove? How about horseback riding in the mundi? There are many wonderful activities above water on Bonaire, so why not include a video of these activities in your DVD?
At the end of your vacation you have a wonderful souvenir DVD of your Bonaire scuba vacation to show family and friends back home.
Our prices are per guided dive, not per diver. So bring as many divers as you wish, subject to the limits the Harbor Master imposes for the Pier dives.
Roger and Marcia will dive with you and video as many of your vacation dives as you desire.
Are you taking digital photographs while in Bonaire? At no extra cost, we will include your photos as a slide show (complete with music of your choice) in the DVD. If you want this option, I need your photos as .jpg files on a CD at least two full days ahead of your departure (Chat 'n' Browse is an excellent place to get this done.)
At the end of your vacation, you will receive two copies of a DVD containing video of each of your Blennylips dives. Any room left on your DVD will be filled with clips from the Blennylips Video Dive Log.
The only way to dive these sites is with a licensed dive guide who must first get permission from the Harbor Master.
The Harbor Master will seldom commit to an okay date more than one or two days ahead of time. As soon as you decide to do this dive, please contact us with at least several dates to get permission for. The piers are seldom tied up for more than a day or two, so the odds are good of getting one of your requested dates.
When you request the dates from us, be sure to include the names, nationality, and passport numbers of those in your party wanting to do the pier dive.
The Harbor Master imposes limits of 6 divers per guide at the Salt Pier and 4 divers per guide at the Town Pier. So, Blennylips Bonaire can accommodate up to 12 divers in a group at the Salt Pier and 8 at the Town Pier.
This is one of our favorite Bonaire dives. You usually see large schools of Tarpon sleeping in the bowl and Eagle Rays cruising along the reef drop-off.
This is also one of Bonaire's most advanced dives due to the possibilities of strong current, poor visibility and confusing terrain. Whether you dive with Blennlips Bonaire or not, we urge you to engage a local dive guide for the first few times you dive Cai Channel. This is not a dive for beginners!
Up until a few years ago, this dive site was open to the public. As the Blennylips Bonaire headquarters are adjacent to the Sabadeco Pier and we have our own access to it, we can offer this dive to our customers.
Its prime attraction is that it seldom gets dived. Its half way between the moorings at Andrea II and Barcadera. The commonly seen turtles here are quite calm and accepting of attention from divers. Several years ago there was a group of baby reef sharks that took up residence in this area, escaping from all the attention from divers at the adjacent sites.
These are some of the custom DVD's we've done over the last few years:
