The aim of this trip was to visit family and friends in St. George Utah and Albuquerque New Mexico.

The drive bewteen was an amazing tour through the heart of polygamy country, the Painted Desert and the Grand Canyon. Not to mention the Taos Pueblo. Oh yes, and there was some sort of Balloon Festival going on in Albuquerque...

Marcia and I return to Palau and Yap for the third time. Our first visit in 1995 totally entralled us with the adrenaline charged diving of Palau and the charm of Yap above water as well as below.

Our second visit was in 1998, just after a devastating el Nino event. It was heartbreaking to see the formerly vibrant corals dead and algae covered.

We were very pleased to find Palau's coral recovering nicely. Yeah! Yap, while just as charming above water is suffering from the aftermath of typhoon Sudal in 2004.On the other hand, they now have a fabulous Mandarin fish Mating dive!
